Terms of use
Last updated: [date]
These terms are an agreement between you (and the company you sign up for) and [Company legal name] ([Registered address]), the operator of Keel. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Keel is an online CRM for sales and marketing teams. We may improve and change features over time; we will tell you in advance about changes that take away something you rely on.
2. Accounts and workspaces
Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password safe. The person who creates a workspace is its owner and is responsible for who they invite and which roles they give. You must be at least 18 and authorised to accept these terms for your company.
3. Acceptable use
- Send email and text messages only where you have a lawful basis and follow the rules that apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR and ePrivacy rules, and in Turkey Law No. 6563 and the İleti Yönetim Sistemi (İYS) where they apply.
- Don’t send to purchased or scraped lists without a lawful basis, don’t hide who you are, and honour unsubscribe requests.
- Don’t upload unlawful content, malware or other people’s data you may not use, and don’t try to access other workspaces or get around limits and security measures.
4. Email sending
To send from your own domain you verify it first. Every workspace has a daily sending limit. Because all customers share our email infrastructure, we may pause sending for a workspace whose bounce or spam-complaint rates put deliverability at risk, and we will tell you why and how to resume.
5. Your data and our data processing terms
Your company owns the data in its workspace and is its controller; we process it as your processor. We: process it only to provide Keel and on your documented instructions; keep it confidential and require the same of our staff; use the sub-processors listed in the Privacy notice and tell you before adding new ones; protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures; help you answer requests from the people the data is about; tell you without undue delay about a personal data breach; and delete or return it when you close your workspace, except where the law requires us to keep it. [Add audit rights, international transfer mechanism and liability terms as agreed.]
6. Connected accounts
When you connect Gmail, Outlook or another service, you authorise Keel to use it as described on the connect screen. You can disconnect at any time in Keel or in that service’s settings.
7. Fees
[Plans, prices, billing and refunds to be added.]
8. Availability, warranties and liability
[Service levels, disclaimers and limitation of liability to be added after legal review.]
9. Ending the agreement
You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. After closure we delete workspace data as described in the Privacy notice.
10. Governing law
[Governing law and competent courts, e.g. the laws of the Republic of Türkiye and the courts of Istanbul.]
11. Contact
